i have a pretty bad oil problem that i can't figure out. I have good compression in all the cylinders of my 5.7 and i replaced the intake and the oil seals with all new umbrellas yet it still burns oil at part trottle. This is a tbi unit so i cannot control fuel so i do not believe it is washing out my cylinder walls. Anyone know what is going on or had the same experience please let me know thanks.

If you have to much crankcase pressure sometimes the TBI will suck oil through the PVC hoses. But usually the high pressure is from bad rings, since you have good compression it does not seem that this would be the case. If you have'nt already check the crankcase ventilation systems for oil in the tubes.
Good luck
