I had posted a previous thread here about the tension belt spring breaking well lo and behold it got caught in the timing belt and broke my camshaft! I have never seen one break this way but it did. Anyhow I bought a new shaft and installed it but when I put the shafts that hold the rocker arms or at least I know its two shafts that fit on top of the cam I had laid them down and stepped back and tripped over them and yea you guessed it they became mixed up to me I did by process of elamination knew which one went on top and bottom
My question is my Chilton book said how the step ends should go, the intake to the gear, and the exhust step end goes to the distributor, the ends have a flat groove in the ends is this what you call a step end? I did put the shaft with the small holes on the exhaust side was this correct?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
