Just an update on the mileage issues I was having. I ran Seafoam and Hyperlube thru in 2 consecutive tankfuls and it made a big difference! Now another problem and it is a leak on the passengers side floor when it rains hard. The molding at the bottom center of the windshield is loose. Could that be causing this leak? If so, would you recommend going to an auto glass shop and have them put some adhesive on it? It just started doing this. Also, the wipers never slide down to the level I think they should after turning them off. Is this a motor or switch issue? Thanks.

Yes, if the seal is leaking it could get into the car. If it is loose, I would recommend seeking professional advice from a credible source (might want to Google the company name to see what other people have said about them). The wipers do not return directly to the seal. They normally remain about an quarter of an inch or so away from the seal. If it is supposed to return to the seal on these cars (I would have to check mine to verify for you which I will do) it would not be a switch or motor issue. Most likely and adjustment would need to be made.
The wiper arm is attached to the motor by a threaded terminal. The wiper arm goes over the terminal, which then a nut is tightened down on the arm. Sometimes they come loose. You can loosen the nut, adjust the arm to a desired position and then tighten it down. Keep in mind, if you move it too far one way, either the wiper arms will hit each other, or not clear properly. So be aware of what you are doing.
