ok so here is the thing: i got my tru-boost (thanks PMP), and now i'm wondering about the best way to do the installation. i dont really wanna have to pull the whole dash off, but i cant really think of another way to do it. has anyone installed one of these a different way? i wanted to put in the mount for the stock boost gauge, but it doesnt matter alot either way. how did you guys do it? also, whats the easiest way to get to thew turbos? it looks to me like i would have to jack it up to get underneath all the intake stuff. am i wrong?

ok so i found a few how-tos that pretty much answered all of my previous questions, but ive run into another snag. i was poking around today, and i cant find a place in the firewall to run the wires and vacuum line. i thought i could use the steering column area, but i cant really get to it. drilling is not an option. any suggestions?

I ran mine through the left side of the firewall. What you need to do is take out the battery and get yourself a close hanger (metal) and some tape. Tape everything you need to run through the firewall to the end of the hanger and work it through the rubber opening (though it is quite a tight fit). In order to recieve it on the other side of the firewall you will have to get under the passenger side of the dash and take off a panel that has some type of computer (forgot exactly what it was) attatched to it, and then reach way up to where you stuck the wire through. Once you have managed to get a hold of it, pull it through and remove the tape and pull the close hanger back out from where you stuck it in. From there, you can route it wherever you want to.

yeah, i got everything through. now i am just debating the best way to connect it to power. and also trying to figure out which hoses go where. . . ITS ALL SO CONFUSING!!! everyone seems to have done it a different way, but noone seems to have followed the instructions it came with. but back to the pwer thing: i was just gonna connect it to the battery and put in an inline fuse. bad idea? help with the hose dillema is appreciated too. i dunno what id do without you guys. :iceslolan
