P0403 - EGR Solenoid circuit
P1403 - Electric Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Failure
My EGR wire has been unhooked for years. When I did the LIM job I reconnected everything. I'm pretty sure the wiring is fine so I think the EGR might be bad. I read in Haynes that pin 1 and 5 an pins 2 and 4 should be a closed circuit. I tested it and pins 1 and 5 were closed but 2 and 4 were open. Is this the right test? If so, would I need to replace the EGR or could it be cleaned up?
Another option is I have the two grey wires mixed up. One is the 5 volt (which I have on pin 4).
