Throttle body peice missing

I have a 1996 2.2 cavalier i did the head gasket and now when i went to put the throttle body back on the metal tube thing that goes in the intake manifold between the throttle body and manifold is missing what is this part called?

TB gasket?

There shouldn't be a tube between them... if you mean close to where they join, possibly the EGR pipe... haven't seen a 2.2 OHV in a while, can't think exactly where everything is. Maybe a picture of the area would help.
