95 2.0 no power

95 contour 2.0 auto. starts fine idles real slow always has, but has hesitation when first accelerating you can give it gas slowly but if you push it to the floor it bogges down changed fuel filter and checked fuel pressure 35 psi check engine light is not on all the time checked and cleaned air filter. acts like it is not getting enough gas. checked for vacume leaks none real noticable anyone have any ideas?

I wouldn't be surprised if the fuel pump 'sock' is clogged from all the gunk its picked up over the last 14 years. It's either that or a vacuum leak.

35 psi is normal (at least for the duratec). The duratec hits ~55 psi at redline. Not sure what the zetec is.
