Swap Interference Questions

Hello, My name is Cody and I'm a new member of this Civic Forum.. I am also a beginner when it comes to Honda Tuning. I am currently working of my first Civic Hatch Project(1998 CX hatch) and have been gathering my motor in pieces. I have a b18b1 block with Civic Type R pistons. I'm going to be using a B18c1 head and going V-Tec. ( I just had an LS motor before but it spun a rod bearing). Am I going to have any interferance with the head?( because of how dished out the pistons are)... Any help would be sweet.. Also, What type of ECU would I want to run (My car is convereted to OBD 1).. Thanks
