'99 Chrysler T&C Gear Shift

I have a '99 Chrysler T&C 3.8 with 108,000 miles on it. Lately, when you put it in park, sometimes it doesn't go all the way into park and won't let you take the key out, even though you move the gear shift lever all the way up. It kind of stops at Reverse, then if you go "down a notch" and then back up, it'll go into park and you can pull out the key. At other times, it will indicate it's gone into park, let you take the key out, but then won't start next time, until you go down a notch and back up, kind of putting it back in park.

Anyone experience anything similar?

Sounds like your linkage needs adjusted a little tighter. You can adjust the cable above the transmission.
