Wooo! Dire Straits - Money For Nothing!
That's a pretty kick-ass song to have as No. 1 on your day of birth. It's also nice that it's a song that I've always enjoyed.

In the US, it was some lame song named "Sherry" by this group called The Four Seasons.
In the UK, some guy named Elvis singing "She's not you".
Australia it was Tommy Roe singing "Sheila"
I AM older than 13, you know. :uhoh:

:iagree:  Most of the songs listed were popular when I was in high school or college in the early/mid '80s. Talk about old, our local oldies station is now playing '80s songs, and one of our classic rock stations considers mid '90s rock to be 'classic rock' :shakehead:

I hope your kidding, about the Elvis and The Four Seasons. Maybe it's just my dad is a musician, and I'm pretty well versed in music because of it.

Absolutely kidding...."Some guy" is definitely an understatement for Elvis. And "Sherry" is still played today.

May 10th, 1986.
The Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls.
just youtube'd the vid, and it sucks. all but the very first sentence of the song.
The website suggested my 18th birthday as the story of my life song, but i went with my 19th as I think that the most memorable and important so far... I wasn't very happy with what was #1, but it's a hell of a lot better than the Pet Shop Boys...
May 10th, 2005 (19th Bday)
Gwen Stefani - Hollaback Girl
Hey... Atleast she's hot as hell.
