a friend of mine his selling 17 rims they two have 225/45/ZR17 (back) and the other two have 205/45/ZR17 (front) is this a common thing to do? or is it a bad idea to keep the tires as such and get different tires? BTW this is for a 93 accord (rims and tires formerly on a teg)

you should be fine, but i don't know why you friend put wider tires in the rear when the teg is fwd.

how would this affect the speedometer reading or would it?

Well what is the stock size of the Accord tires?

Depending on what size OEM was your speedo and odometer would be off. Plus I don't understand why people with FWD cars put larger tires out back?

wont make a big difference but you are a racing type i would switch what should be the back to the front cause no offense but that was a stupid thing to do i am guessing your friend is use to having a muscle car or something
