Power Steering Noise

Hi Guys,
I'm back seeking help.
2000 GP GTP with Magnasteer Variable assist.
The rack and pinion was changed a couple years ago, power steering pump was new before winter. All was well, but I decided to throw on a couple new PS lines out of preventative maintenance. Both of them are new, edelman brand from o'reilly's, and are both for "variable assist".
Ever since I installed them, the PS pump has been making noise. It even aerated the fluid pretty badly. I made sure I bled it and re bled it. I then snugged up both connections to the rack and pump. Now the fluid isn't noticibly being aerated, but the noise is still slightly there. I swapped out the pump with a different one, still making noise. It seems to make more noise as I turn in park and its ideling at 800rpm. It will also be louder after the car has been warmed up.
I think for some reason that the return line connection on the r&p isnt tight enough allowing air to enter, but no fluid to leak. (just my diagnosis).
Has anyone experienced a similiar issue? One other thing I noticed is that one of the connections to the r&p doesnt seem like its screwed in as far as the other. (if that makes sence). One nut is showing more threads than the other. I was wondering if anyone would go take a peek at their PS lines where they connect to the r&p to see if theirs is the same way. You can see them from up top, glancing down, between the firewall and the rear exhaust manifold, on the drivers side near the brake booster.
Also maybe someone can help me out, is there O-rings that need to be replaced? Maybe one of my lines has 2 o-rings in it by mistake.
I wont have a chance to take a look at it untill maybe next week. Anyone have any ideas to check before then?
Thanks!

Just from your symptoms I'd think about changing the lines again. Delco or GM Dealer...
There could be some sort of restriction there that is cavitating the pump.
If I counted right, 3 different PS pumps did not aid the situation...

Old Post, sorry guys. I just want to share my experiences.
Turns out the return line wasnt connected tight enough to my rack and pinion. Reason being was becuase of my GMPP stabilizer bar. Since its larger than the stock one, the connection seemed tight, but wasnt. I had to disconnect the endlinks and midpoints, slide the stabilizer bar over to the right. This gave me just enough room to get a wrench on my return line connection to the rack and pinion, and I was able to turn it almost another quarter turn. Problem solved. Thanks!
