79 ta wheels

I recently bought a 79 trans am that had the rally wheels I bought a used set of ws6 wheels the 15 by 8s. what size tires should I put on these rims to maintain the proper height and still fit. Also when I bought the car someone had removed the trunk lid springs does anyone know what other years and models would fit this car? thanks
