Will Revell ever learn?

I think the entire modelling community wishes Revell would switch to consistently making only 1/24 scale cars, so they are consistent in scale to other makes (Hasegawa, Tamiya, and Fujimi come to mind as the top competition on this board) in our collections. I think Revell would sell many more kits if they were all 1/24 scale.
If you agree with me on this, make a post adding your name to the list. I will eventually send a link to this thread to Revell to show them what their clientele want!
The only way to affect a change, is to tell somebody the change has to be made, or to do it yourself.

The problem is that Revell's market is deeply divided. On one hand you have the American muscle car crowd who prefer the 1/25. On the other hand you have us 1/24 preferring people. They actually changed it for a few models awhile ago, but the 1/25 crowd made such an outroar that they changed it back. :(

Really? I didn't reallize the Muscle car crowd wanted 1/25. I thought they always wanted things bigger? :D :rolleyes:
Perhaps Revell should make all their pre '79 kits 1/25 and all their post '79 kits 1/24, like the 360 Spider is. Then all the tuner kits would also be 1/24.

Sounds like an idea. Of course, they have a lot of post-1979 American cars too.

I agree 1:24 rocks! I like those mustangs corvettes camaros and pontiacs in 1:24 not in stupid 1:25.
If you guys remember XXX, he drove the gto and remember in one of the scene where he had to choose his car between all those imports, the gto rule, it's big!
I recently bought from HLJ those arii classic american motor series and man those trans am is a long car! and the thunderbirds also!

it's true.. I don't buy some kit becose they are 1/25 and look strange beside others !

Here's a way to look at it i run a hobby shop and i sell more revell and AMT kits than Tamiya and Fujimi kits by a long shot. Now its not that its size that matter its the type of kits. i find people don't like Fujimi because the interior is crap in detail and Most Tamiya kits have no motor and they are both alot more expensive.i on the other hand dont give a shit on what size as i have between 1/8-1/16-1/24-1/25 scale kits

just have 2 different case 1:24 and 1:25
my case got both plus a 1:64 and 1:18 cars. looks fine to me.
i like revell because of its prices. its mistakes can be fixed.

If they change....cool! If they don't...oh well. I buy very few Revel kits any more, so I don't care what scale they are...well, unless I am buidling a diorama with kits from different companies, then it matters.
