just keep it running and maintained to get you from A to B, unless you have some serious dough to spend on it.

you can boost a 1.6, but you'd have to find an old hotshot turbo kit that would give you everything.

obviously if i'm posting this than i have the ability to do that. I have a job where money goes no where so I want to spend it on this.
ya i found on this one site a turbo kit for the 1.6. $1500. i might start with that just becuase an ugly car with turbo would be funny...but ya what the heck does limited edition mean?

oh and what horsepower would i get with the turbo off of prostreet online.
and if i'm currently getting like 9.6s 0-60 what would it improve to?

well i did the math and i should be running about 143hp and i think my 60 time would be closer to 7.5 seconds

so i'm thinking if i do like all of that.
turbo
exhaust system and headers
lightweight stuff in the engine
i could be running over 200hp maybe with a sub 6 second 60 time

im not trying to be snappy or anything here :D. its just that once and awhile someone pops up and wants to turbo their 1.6 and you dont hear anything about them ever again.

you might want to check out the whole header and turbo thing...it doesnt quite work out.

i'd check this site out: http://www.notnser.com/

this is your gold mine basically. no more searching needed!

let me know if you think this post is good enough... :D:D:D:D:D:D

ok so i've done some more researching and i'm gonna go with the engine swap.
is the SR20DE and DET the only engines i can put in this?
i'm prolly going to go with the DET since it's cheaper than buy aftermarket turbo for the sr20de. that will give me a 5.5 60mph time right?

im pretty sure just spraying nitrous and using drag radials will easily get you that 5.5 60mph time instead of paying a lot of money for a swap.

check out these 2 sites : sr20forum.com sr20-forum.com. more than enough info to go around.
