If you're on dry pavement, that's normal, it's called "crow hop". Going straight, both wheels turn at the same speed. When turning, the inside wheel turns slower than the outside wheel causing the axles to bind. It's best not to use 4WD on dry pavement. Crow hop is extremely hard on the 4WD components.
