Hmmm, not sure if you are asking a question or making a statement, or both.
Are you relying on the gauge in the instrument cluster to determine if you have pressure or not, or are you using a mechanical guage where the oil switch connects? Do you really have no pressure, or just low pressure? I assume you are referring to main crankshaft bearings. Did you change them out because you had low oil pressure? Which year of Taurus and which engine does it have?

I had to do the lowerend on my 96 Windstar with a 3.8L in it. The mains were pretty bad, the the rod bearings were the worse. Did you check them???
