I just pulled my motor and I am installing twin 16g's on my 3.5 stroker engine. I still gotta build the fuel system, and do some tranny stuff, but it will be done, dynoed, tracked, and rolling before ECG. Just figured I would let ya'll know. I can't tell you how many people want this setup and are just awaiting for the results with my car... Well results to follow in the next couple of weeks:wink:
Will try to get some pics up in a little while.

You going for a pump gas tune?

Considering Jays car made what 520whp on a conservative pump gas tune on a 3.0 (or was is 3.1?) you should be easily be able to top 600 awhp I'd think.

I will be dynoing for pump and for race gas. Jay had a 3.1 and he made 513 at 17 psi on 93 octane.
I will retain the stock heads and I am using a stock computer with an afc. I'm big on driveability.
I hope to see around the 600awhp mark on pump, but with the stock heads, I don't know if it is possible. I like to be realistic when it comes to bench dynoing. We will soon see.

Stock heads are going to kill it :(. I only make 430 awhp at 16 psi on a 3.0 stock engine with evo3's. My tune wasn't super agressive as it was for DD duty. Good luck sir.

Chris, IPO, made over 700 on stock heads with ethanol

Hey,
you should definately be able to make more power out of that setup man. We made 513 on a 3.1 with stock heads with 16g's on Jay's car at only 17 psi. And she was running pretty rich.
The heads will kill the power at some point, but I should still see some pretty good race gas/high boost numbers regardless.

Chris made 700 with stock heads and ethanol, but that is only because of the properties of e90. On gas, it wouldn't make anywhere near that kind of power. Im not interested in setting up for e90/e85 etc. mostly because the tuning parameters change drastically for weather variance...and there is only 1 or 2 e85 stations in the long island NY area.

I think he only did a really quick mild tune because we were daily driving it. He's since turned the car back to stock and sold it. I bought that TD05 set-up for my 91 Stealth. I'm still debating on sticking with the built 3.0 that I have in there now, or selling it and picking up a 3.5. I just don't know if I want to wait to sell my engine, or just put it together now (I have almost everything I need) since the car has been down nearly 3 years now and I kind of just want to drive it LOL

I knew the ethanol is why he made so much power. I was just stating the stock heads aren't that much of a restriction.
