Saturn's older sister. The Geo Storm was never released as a kit, but was out for a little while as an assembled snap type promo model.
Taken apart, cleaned up, primed and finished like any other model.
I swapped out the smallish GEO wheels for a set from a PT Cruiser and added other details such as the polished aluminum exhaust tips, the outside mirror faces and the antenna. the color is a custom mixed 'school bus' yellow with a black roof panel. A look i've always thought would look great on a 'real' one'.

Outstanding job. The only thing I would have done is detail the tail lights a bit with a black border on the edge of the red, and black out the center panel. oh, and of course I would have placed a license tag over the "1991"
That is a kit to be proud of on your book shelf.

Love it!!! This was my 1st car. I miss her:( Did you need to strip the paint? Or clear or whatever the hell is on there... When I tried to paint over it, I had negative results.

Wow I envy what you have....I used to love the style of this car so much. I thought this is a sister car to the Izusu Impulse? Never knew there were models of this. I wonder what does the word "promo" mean in the car modelling world and where do people get these promo models.

The promo-promotional models, were offered at car dealers in the early days of modelling, as a tiny replica of the new model years' changes, paint and such.
They are just the same as a pre builtup snap kit, curbside such.
I think some dealers still sell newer promos. The c5 and c6 corvettes were the most recent I think. That, or the ebay.
