98 ford taurus (steps to replacing rack and pinion)

we are replacing a rack and pinion on a 1998 ford taurus 3.0L 24v dual cams. we have not done one on a ford before and wanted to know if anyone had some good steps on replacing it, or some tips on getting to the hidden bolts! Thanks

From a shade tree mechanic without any convienient shop tools, I can tell you it takes a lot of time. I did mine from the instructions and it took me 14 hours in my garage.
