66 nova engine swap...????

I'll cut to the chase on this one......Is it easier to swap engines...(.230 6 cyl....to a 327 v8.)..and leave the trany in....Or take it out with the 6 cyl......??...........Then mount it to the v8 while the engine's out......Thanks............

The Trans is a 3 speed manual...The shifters is on the floor......Thanks

It's easier to pull it as one unit and replace as one unit. You can easily get at all the bolts, make sure they're tight and not twist your arm tryign to do it. Good luck
