Modeling sites and sanding sticks

Hi guys,

I wonder if any of you know any good modeling sites that ships worldwide? I've checked hiroboy.com, seems like an awesome site, but much of their stuff is out of stock, like carbon fibre decals and compounds and so on. Unfortunately I haven't found a single Swedish site that sells these products, and therefore I would appreciate if someone could give me some tips about sites with a wide range of these products.

Also, a thing regarding plastic kits. I currently use a pretty rough sanding stick for removing the excess plastic from where the parts are connected to the frames. I still get some tiny visible bits left every time, and I don't want to sand too much with this stick since I'm afraid I will damage the actual plastic part too much.
What do you guys use for removing these small bits? A "direct" product tip would be helpful:)

Cheers,
Fred

For that kind of cleanup I've been using these 4-Way nail files for a while and find they work great. Each stick has 4 grits: Course - Medium - Fine - Extra Fine

You can also cut/customize the end shape since the grits are bonded to a hard plastic. They're also inexpensive and washable.

crazy Modeler Super Abrasive Sanding Sticks are good for me.

Though they are large when dealing with tiny parts, you can cut them into smaller shape. The fine and the finest sticks will not harm your plastic .They are flexible ,soft and washable:-)

Maybe can try stradasports.com .I guess they are selling CM items, too.Good luck

Also I have a question about this heat shield product:

http://www.stradasportsstore.com/shop-bin/sc/productsearch.cgi

Do I apply this the same way as with carbon decals, with Microset and Microsol?

Cheers,
Fred

Link doesn't work.
If you ask about the MFH heat shield than I think it is self adhesive, it means it has a sticky surface on one side.
