Methanol kit install how should I run lines

Hey guys here is my predicament. I really want to install my meth kit with the bottle in the trunk cause its empty and there is no room anywhere else. Now the only real question is where should I run the lines. The one obvious option is under the car but it is rubber hose that may get damaged easily when exposed under the car (even with the protective cover maybe) and the other option is through the interior but then I'm sorta concerned about the hose getting pinched by either someone inadvertently stepping on it or what not. what would you guys do any experience?

Input welcome!

I think either one you would be fine. I would run the line along side of your fuel lines, just zip tie them together and you would be fine. But if your concerned with that run it throught the interior. I would probably run it under the carpet right in the corner where the metal folds up to meet the door. No one will step there

I plan on getthing meth soon so I want some results posted up

I will def post the results so you would do them with the fuel lines eh?

Thats a good idea I am looking forward to the install I just need one day where it is decently warm outside and it is in!

I want logs of air temps and how much more timing you can run. Sh1t, the 4g63 logs air temps at the MAF doesn't it?

Yea i was just going to say that. Its not gonna change my air temps until after the maf. PLus if you saw my air temps and thought they were at the manifold you would prolly cry cause my IAT are normally just like 10 degrees over ambient cause of my air dam.

Timing I can show you :) KNock and airflow also
Effectively these are much more important anyways

Also anyone know what target A/F I should aim for with 100% meth on a M14 nozzle?

You know that meth doesn't offer hardly any cooling to the air charge. Its mainly the water that cools the charge down. But most people go for 12.0 I believe. There is a good thread on tuners you may want to check out.

It's been 3 years sence I installed my Meth kit. Becasue all Surflow pumps are gravity fed I mounted mine in the spare/tire bracket and mounted my 1 gallon tank on the back of my rear-driverside seat. I can't really tell whats in the bags but I recomend at least an inline screen filter and LED float level (mounted on a-pillar under boost gauge).

As for the lines I wouldn't run them under the car, they are not durable enought to withstand the dabree and crazy temps up north. I ran min dirrectly under the center console and though the firewall on the passenger side. You should see a HUGE change with the M14, I ran an M5 (way to small on 16g) then swithed to an M7 (.5deg knock reduction) then to an M10 where it gave me the best results. I was seeing 2deg less knock, and 2 degee better timing advance.

I don't know if you'll ever decide to run a 3in GM maf, but make sure to possition the M14 nozzle a far away as hummanly possable from that thing. I had mine halfwa down the upper intercooler pipe with the M10 4 inches away from the TB elbow and I was still getting residual moister in my MAF that compleaty fucked my day up.
