Transmission - 4t40e or Getrag F23 5speed from cavalier/sunfire 2.2OHV (2200sfi) 98-02.
Flywheel/flexplate - Same as trans above (clutch as well)

PCM and engine wiring harness from the car you yank the 3100/3400/3800 from. Since you have a pre-00 car, you need the PCM and wiring harness from a donor car thats also pre-00.

Step 1- Enjoy rewiring that beeeeotch.
step 2 - Custom engine mounts need to be welded up. Upper dog bones and lower supports. The V6's make a lot more torque and power than the 4 bangers which came in these cars. A lot of stiffening needs to be done as these first swaps resulted in twisted subframe and upper radiator supports.

Raven's car below ( 3800 SII Supercharger and then removed the blower and fully built it for a custom turbo setup)

Its not a plug n play swap, it requires custom work and the wiring is the worst part of it all. Guys hack apart the harnesses and make them work with the J-body interior harness. Get a wiring diagram for both cars. A j-body and w-body(Lumina, Grand am, Grand prix, Malibu, etc..) since thats most likely what your going to pull it from.

This site isn't very loaded with J-tuners. www.j-body.org would be more up your alley if your serious and have more questions. :)
