I have now got about 6 weeks of no leaks using a product call Dike by Conklin. Recommended by a mechanic in Alabama. The mechanic said some customers have gone years without leaks. The product just list as a temporary fix for leaks in radiator and head gaskets Great thing was that I did not have to empty the coolant before adding the product. I do not sell the product. You can search for it on the Internet and have been told some auto parts story carry it. Did not find it at the Autzone or others locally in East Tennessee.

This "Temporary Fix" is now getting close to 6 months.

Interesting to follow this thread. Considering how bad my gasket looked when I opened the intake shortly after discovering the leak, I find it difficult to believe that this would provide a reliable long term fix. (I discover the leak after abut 2 quarts of coolant loss.)
