Hey y'all! This morning I was driving to work in my 2000 honda accord when all of a sudden the accelerator would not respond to my foot pressure. There was nothing else wierd that happened- no noises or flashing lights or anything. I pulled over, waited a minute, then tried the car again. The accelerator worked, and I was able to get to work. This exact thing also happened to me about two weeks ago also on a Mon morning. At that time, I just thought it was a fluke. I called the dealership, and the mechanic said he never heard of such a thing. What do y'all think? Have you ever had an experience like this? (This is the first time I have ever had a problem with my car!!) Thank you guys!!!! :) nathalie

I know they will go into limp mode and won't rev over 3000 rpm or so if they lose a signal from one of the cam or crank sensors...was it something like that, or just fell to idle and wouldn't respond?
Limp mode should light the CEL though...

you should have it checked for computer codes... i don't know much about the computers in the hondas (used to domestic ecu's) there may be some hidden codes
