Interested to hear from those of you who are running stroker combinations in your cars.

Have you experienced any windage issues that have caused oil pressure or bearing problems since taking the stroker route?

What capacity engine are you running?

What sort of (sustained) rpm are you running the engine to?

If you did experience windage issues how did you overcome these?

Thanks,

i have run 392/396/427...the smaller 2 versions had bearing fairure issues running 6500 rpms and down with GTS stock heads (edelbrock). When we went to the 427 we went drysump and a dart block with 4 bolt mains and cleveland bearing diameters. Problem solved! We had terrible luck with ford motorsports blocks with edelbrock heads so I dont recemmend stroking without the extra mile of a 4 bolt main with smaller bearing diameter (lowers bearing speeds), drysumping, and afr/jezel solid rockers. This combo has worked for us and we have put 100's of hours on 2 engines without any issues!!!!! We went thru 4 engines before we learned and gave up that route!
