I am having problems getting my side windows to roll up they are manual and I need to know what would hold them in the track or rail.

Generally if you remove the inner door panels, you will be able to see the mechanism that raises/lowers the glass. Then lubricate all places where the parts of the mechanism need to slide over each other or rotate. I use regular grease on the sliding parts, and drops of motor oil on the parts that pivot. This should make it go up and down more easily. You might also want to check whether the guides for the glass (at the front and back side of it) still have their felt stuff intact. If this comes loose it can cause binding. You can use some RTV gasket maker smeared on the back of the felt part, then shove it back into the guide, and lower the windows to keep it in place - - for about 12 hours.
Good Luck.
P.S. It also helps to lubricate the door hinges, and to lubricate the locks, by putting a drop on oil on the key, and putting it into the lock. I do this at least once a year on all the locks on my car; doors, trunk, ignition, etc.
