Have a 98 lumina 3.1l. 200,000 miles. Just replaced fuel pump, and the car was running good. Would start with no problems. Then one day i went to start it and it wouldnt start. The motor will turn over but but wont start. I can hear the fuel pump come on. Sometimes after a couple tries it will start but if i push on the gas it dies. I've heard about the icm being a problem. Just need some help. Any ideas please. thanks

Dont know. I really dont want to take it to a mechanic. Cause i know they will charge an arm and a leg.

Try clamping shut the fuel return line to the tank...see if it starts. If so, the fuel pressure regulator may have failed...
