98 licoln continental dome lights

ok. i bought the car and when i turn it on all the inside dome lights come on. even when im driving they stay on, So everytime i get in or out of the car i got to pull one of the battery cables off. the dash keeps telling me door ajar. So i guess the real question is, Is where is the door jam/jar switch located at in the rear doors, i bought a chilton book but, of corse that didnt help, waste of money, so im sittin with a switch and my thumbs in my ass:headshake

In where your door latches is a switch. If you saturate it with WD-40 the warning will go off and it will be fixed. If you need further instructions, Lincolnsonline.com has pics and instructions in the tech section.
