:uhoh:I own a 2000 century and was wondering if there was any way to make the headlights go out as soon as you turn the key off? Thanks Corey

Check your owners manual . It will tell the many options you have as far as setting features for your car . These changes are often done with the radio as settings are displayed on the digital readout of the radio . I can't say specifically about your car but it is done this way for most GM products. Let us know what you find out and good luck !

Just to clarify you want to inhibit the Delayed Headlamp Illumination feature instead of the headlights automatically turning off after the delay which could be up to 90 seconds?

Just go to Chapter 2 of the Owner's Manual and look up "Delayed Headlamp Illumination". It can be turned off.

For those without an owner's manual to reference:

Make sure all doors are closed and ignition key is in RUN.
Press and hold the power door lock switch. While holding door lock switch, cycle the headlamp switch at the dash on and then off two times.
Release the power door lock switch.
Operations must be carried out in a time period of less than 10 seconds followed by a delay period of no more than 10 seconds.
Then, press and hold the power door lock unlock switch.
While holding the door lock switch turn the headlamp switch on and then off two times.
Release the unlock switch.
Steps must be carried out in time period of less than 10 seconds.
After releasing the door unlock switch a single chime will be heard and Delayed Headlamp Illumination function will be disabled.
Two chimes will be heard if enabled.
