Hi marcmy, welcome to the forum. :D
I think you can still get the optional speaker mounts from the dealer. Not sure of the cost or what's included, I do know they will accomodate 6.5" speakers. Hope this helps.

If your sedan is blue interior I will sell you my rear headrests, I took em out cause they look stupid and reduce my visibility out the back window.

Hey welcome to the forum m8, none of my civics had rear speakers which is a pain in the ass, coz u gotta run rear speakers through an amp (I am lazy and hate to do wiring at the best of times!!!!)

Where would one obtain a set of 5x9 speakers? I looked around and couldn't find 5x9s on any of the audio websites I know.

Try Crutchfeild.com (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-HW5f7jTRJZa/) for 5x9in speakers. They are usually pretty good.

RR speakers are allready wires from the factory, even if you dont have them right now......search in behind the covers for the tail light bulbs there should be 2 wires with blue tape attached to the wire harness somewhere in there then all you need is the mounting rings...try the junk yards first or try ebay, ive seen them there also....
