Hi, I have a Keyless Entry (remote) to get in and out of my car. All doors can be locked and unlocked using the Keyless Entry but once I sit in the car, the door can't be locked by the power switch (only one power switch that controls the driver and passenger seats). I do hear the locking noise but nothing happens.
What can be the problem?

I guess this is a manufacturer safety feature, or something like this. I cannot lock my doors by remote in my Toyota when the key is in the ignition, since this is a factory installed feature, however in my Honda with aftermarket alarm I can do it even while driving.
I hope this helps,
Sam

No, it's not the manufacturer safety feature. You overlooked my post. I cannot lock the door using the power switch, not the keyless entry.
I used to be able to lock the door when I am sitting inside my car using the power switch. But after the windshield is broken in the driver side, the power switch is acting up, so I no longer be able to lock the door.
