New to forums. Hope I posted in the correct place!!
Vehicle is a 1994 4 cylinder 2.3 L Pontiac Grand Am. If antifreeze pours out of the drain hose at the bottom of the firewall is that most likely a sign of a bad heater core? :uhoh:Also, must the heater core be replaced from the dashboard inside or can it be replaced through the firewall? Anyone know of a site to find instructions to use? I looked thru old posts but most were from 2007. Thanks

Welcome. To change the heater core you will have to remove some of the lower dash. Radio has to come out, and there are 8 (I believe) screws that hold the heater assembly together. Heater hoses are disconnected from the outside. I did mine and wasn't too happy about doing it, but I'm not exactly a small person either.
