cv halfaxle assembly

Daughter has 90 probe lx and has grindingnoise when turning, just had bearing replaced but still crunching. Seems like axle on right side. Is it repairable or need new one. Have been looking at new ones but they don't seem long enough for right side. Does axle come apart where the damper is attached?
