Just invited you. If that doesn't work, go to the top right of the page above the question mark and hit "Join Group"

Ok...
So, what does that mean?
Theres a discussion section. Figure use it to discuss modeling stuff that we would not normally discuss here. Plus, we currently have the biggest social group on AF! Lets keep it going!

Um.... off topic modeling stuff? :iceslolan Really, I have no clue. Didn't think it that far. Just figured it was a way to all get together.

I think this Social Group feature is meant to add a different layer of categorization.
Imagine a spread sheet, if you list the existing forums by row, the groups can be listed by column, providing cross forum interactions.
More specifically, let's say if you're interested in British cars, you'll probably like to talk about real cars, collectibles, literatures, etc. This Social Group feature can put British car enthusiasts together "across" the existing forums.
I'd join Z-Car, Porsche and British Marks groups, once such groups are created.
But if you create a group that coincides with any of AF's existing forums, the members and topics will most likely be similar, or even redundant, right?
I think that's the cause of the confusion.

Hahaha! I don't think joining another online social group is what she meant.

Yes, so basically you have a car modelling group within an existing car modelling group, talking about the same stuff :eek7:....haha!
