hi i just purchased a turbo sunbird 88, and it needs a head gasket and i was just wondering if someone could give me some info on doing this, eg. head bolt torque, timing belt setup and whether or not i should purchase a new timing belt while its off, the old one isnt cracked or anything but not sure if i should just change it anyways. If someone could give some insight on this job that would be cool thanks tj.

Do the timing belt while you are in there. Get a GM shop manual off eBay. Don't use the Chilton's - it is just enough to get you in trouble.
