car wont start only getting spark at 2 plugs??

so i took my motor out of my 97 tsi to change the tranny and put it back in and hooked everything up and tried cranking it and it cranks but wont start... ive got fuel but only spark at 2 plugs what would cause this?

Which cylinders have spark? The coil packs on these fire in pairs. It should be 1 and 4 and then 2 and 3. Just one of these sets firing could be a sign of a bad coil pack or maybe even just bad plug wires. Are the wires new or old?

Yeah he could've easily hit it or caused some sort of damage through vibration of removing the motor.
