98 Lincoln Town Car Problems

My Lincoln is running erratic, inside car smells like Sulfur/rotten eggs. Not sure if it is ECU or Cats, Please help !!!!!!!!!!:confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused::confused:

Sounds like your Catalytic Converter is going bad. Is the engine light on and flashing? If so, don't drive the car. When a engine light flashes, its a Catalyst Damaging DTC.

99.9% of the time that you smell sulfur/rotten eggs it is the cats.

Pull codes + Fix engine 1st,befor putting on New Cat's.

1) Check routine Maintenance!

Plugs,wires,bad Cop's,Air filter,Fuel filter and MAF sensor
