Here's the Fujimi Lan EVO VIII MR built straight out of the box. Decided to use gunze burnt iron for primary color. I thought it would give it that bluish graphite color but the end result turned out different :headshake
The kit is generally good, everything seems to fit right, but... it lacks that sharp feeling i get from tamiya kits  Interior detail also sucks!

Here's my evo collection: (Loved the Evo VI the best, Evo III the least)

All the cars look real good! I think the gunze burnt iron car looks like it could have come from the factory that way.

They all look very good. I have the same feelings that you have about the Fujimi kits, they just lack that bit of sharpness that you get with Tamiya, but they still make nice models. I still have my Fujimi Evo V to build one day, if only I could decide on a colour for the body..??

very nice evos. i like the white evo 6. looks killer

but the red one is not a three, its an evo 2. an evo 3 has deeper and larger bumper holes and larger rear wing. i have a 1:1 evo 3 in my driveway as of the moment, and a 1:1 evo 2 that we're sellling. :D :D :D

A real evo 3 and 2? wow... cool classics
The box the kit came out with says EVO III. I also did some research on the evo 1, 2, and 3, this model kit does correspond with the evo 3 pics i saw on the net  Well, i might be wrong.

must be a wrong box. it happened to me too. wrong box kit. :D

this is the evo 2 that we're selling. the silver one on the background is an evo 3 (that we're rebuilding) both cars came straight from japan.
evo 2:

evo 3 (it has the badge in the trunk.):

the reason the evo 3 has no fenders and doors is that they were when the cars were shipped from japan to here, to avoid denting the doors and fenders. :D

haha, that is sooo cool, is there a strong demand for evos 1-3 there?

not really. most of the evos here are imported form japan. our local dealer didnt release evos until the evo 7, that is why there are a lot of evo 7, 8, 9 and x's running around. evo1-6 are kinda rare/uncommon here. :D :D

Is that frontmount intercooler on the evo 2 stock just how it came? Both cars look super clean. May i ask how much are you asking for the evo2?

As far as the builds the mr reminds me of kahos build. Nice job on all of them, they could be lowered a bit. Other than that great work, and photos.

its the stock intercooler when it arrived here. we're selling it locally for 6500 USD or 325,000PhPeso

that burnt iron is shockingly tasty.
If I didn't already have too many kits to be built, I might have to invest in a set of Evos...

Nice Evo's. Shame Fujimi can't put more detail into their interiors.

From looking at lack of front lip and having stock mitsu wheels instead of the OZ 5 spoke wheels, the red one you have looks more like a EVO 1 , but it doesn't matter. It looks really nice though!

I agree about that fujimi cutting too much corners on their evo models. Plastics are too thick, dashboard doesn't align, although they added new parts for the MR and IX the vortex generator looks so ugly I ended up making my own with thinner plastic cards. Anyone saw their Evo 5 model? I bought one and after a quick comparison to tamiya I immediately put it back in its box and hid it away.

hahha..really have to agree with that, tamiya kit seems to look 'sharper' than fujimi or hase, now im wondering is this still the same for the GT-R between aoshima, fujimi & tamiya.

awesome job man on those evo's
at least they are better than mine

yes, agree with kaho. fujimi evo's not up to standards.
i have built alot of fujimi evo's and i can build them without refering to the instructions where as for tamiya, i need the instructions though.

did someone mentioned my name here?

p/s-> i only need evo 2 to complete my collection. any helpers?
