This is a model that I started a long time ago and only just finished. I'm practicing my weathering teckniques for a future project...
Notice the radio wires coming out of the dash and the roll of paper towels.

Great looking build. The rust on the sides looks very real. I think you captured the 'ratty' look..!!

Gorgeous! Impressive weathering skills.
Any chance we could get some info on how you did it?

Thanks for the comments, I'm glad you like it. This really is only my second weathered model I made.
The rust holes are thinned out from the back and then stabbed through with a blade. The rust itself is a two part product I got from Micheals craftstore called Sophisticated Finishes, made by triangle coatings.
One bottle is a metallic suspention and the other a rusting solution. Works real nice as you can see.
The dents I still got to work on, heat the plastic and push with something with an edge. Mine were done after I painted the body, didn't go really well.....
The paint was just severall layers of primer, rust colors and body color. The primer coat got some salt sprinkeled in it in spots for a "bubbly" look.
Then just take a coarse sanding stick to it in different spots.
The rest is careful drybrushing with earth tones and black.
And the leaves in the bed are a sprinkling of basil and oregano, looks good and takes the smell away!!!!

Nice touch with the red tape over the missing taillight lens. Great job you did with this.

Thats just great. I love the rust puddling in the bed corners. Any tip that you learn while weathering?

I thought the stand was a little bland so I spruced it up a bit. I also added some more stuff to the car. I made a shotgun, threw some shells in the cab, oil bottles, rope, a crushed coke can, wadded up paper towels and a crooked antenna.

Excellent work.
The weathering looks spot on. I like it a lot.

For only your second weathered model, this is really a work of art. I don't think I'd have the guts to "mutilate" one of my models like you did. But it sure looks good...
