motor R&R info help

I'm being given a 96 concorde lxi 3.5 that my grandperents got new and was given to my sister at 72k miles now it has a blown motor sized up from overheating it (sister didn't check fuilds) now at 87k miles I know where to get.a used motor in town but I want to know how hard changing the motor is it looks easy but how hard is disconnecting the tranny from motor? Well actillu where could I find a great diy step by step guide??
