How to turn dash lights off???

My JGC 1996, with 5.2 has the check gauges light, on, abs, and the gas needle is on empty with the light on. Is there a way to turn off the check engine light by pulling the fuse? as well as the abs? ANy idea what is causing the gas needle to point to empty when the tank is full?
