2005 focus door mirror replacement

Can anyone out there help me with replacing my drivers door mirror. Some clown cleaned it off the other day and I have a new Ford replacement. What I'm really concerned with is taking off the interior panel without trashing it or the clips. And, I dont really want to go and buy a Haynes or Chilton manual......at least not right now! Any tips guys? Thx in advance.
