this guy at work is selling a set of koni monsoons w/tires nitto 555r for 125 my only prolbrem is the tire size is 225/40/17 w90 i think 225 is to wide the rims came of a teg an he said will fit a crx so i know they will bolt on but i think there going to rub an i dont want to roll my fender the car i would put them on is a ef hb

they will definately be to wide. But you can always change the tires. I have the 17 monsoons on my car and they look sweet! I am using 205's and they are almost to wide so those would definately rub!:)

yea 225 is way to wide, i have 205's also, and they are wide, get em changed. or ask this dude if you can just buy the rims, and get a lower price?

you are going to have to roll your fenders regardless, I know if my car was lowered I would have to roll the fenders if I kept rolling on these 195/60/15's

yeah thanks for the replys im not a big fan of 17's but they are dirt cheap

why don't you get 'em , and then resell them on ebay..then buy the ones u want ;) - how wide are the rims themselves?? I personally think super-wide rims with tires too skinny are not so good looking...
205's should have 7" wide rims right? so that would make the 225's fit 8" rims properly i think...where's marked001 - he is the tuck king...he should know all this..also..make sure you know the offset...45mm is right..anyone that bought rims for a teg, should have gotten the same offset, since the Teg & Civic suspensions are nearly identical.
