Stealth RT question?

I have a 1996 Stealth RT Twin Turbo.
Now the dilemma. I also have a 1989 Chrysler LeBaron GTC Turbo and I have a bought the chip from Mopar, otherwise known as the Mopar performance computer. This has given me a good amount of boost, now I would like to do the same with my Stealth, but being a Mitsubishi engine and turbos I can see why Chrysler has no chip for my car. I have not been able to find a chip anywhere else. I know that Forward Motion could possibly make me a chip but that me be costly. I also have a friend that has a 1992 Stealth RT non turbo with this same problem.
Anyone know where I might be able to find a chip for either of these cars?

You dont need a chip man :) Just buy a boost controller. Then you can set the boost to any level that you want, within your fuel limitations of course :)

See, fortunately I can do that, but my friend however. . . . .

If it doesn't have a turbo, it's not an R/T...Or it is an R/T with a different engine...Then Again, I'm not the Stealth Genious, it's just that I thought ALLLLLL R/Ts had Turbos...I'll just leave this question up to the bigshots.
So, Guys? what's the call?
Is there an R/T model without a factory Turbo? :help:

Do you have the manual or a automatic in the GTC? And also is it all stock?
Also, I have looked into and he does not have an R/T it is an ES.
I found there is the base RS, then his ES, then the R/T.

5spd manual in the GTC... I have an MSD blaster2 coil, getting an MSD 6Al, Going to a 3" exhaust, bleedervalve (set for 6psi), going to a different type intake (one that bypasses the heater), and that is all...
For the record
Stealth's until 94 had
Base 160
ES 220
R/T 220 and good lookin
R/T TwinTurbo- Beastly

Great then you have the good GTC.
A great way for a quick power boost is to get the Mopar performance computer. It is a simple chip, but it will boost up your turbo to about 15-20 pounds, it has mine at 21. I also replaced the intake on mine, and replaced the exhaust. I put magnecore cords and NKG plugs in it. I also put a centerforce clutch in as well as a new head with hydraulic lifters. The rest were merely cosmetic and stereo mods.

hmmm... I'll look into the computer.
As far as the Stealth TT goes... you wanna figure out how far you wanna go. If you are aiming for 12's... even low 12's... then you'll have a lot less cash to drop, and should get there easily.
If you wanna hit 11's, 10's or better... get ready for some bucks... mostly cause the parts aren't availible yet.
For 12's you need a Boost controller- get and Electronic just cause they are cool. Exhaust/downpipe- a lot of choices... and a K&N/ CAI type intake... that should put you knocking on the door or actually in the 12's. An aluminum flywheel, better clutch, and a carbon fiber driveshaft are a few good things that don't hurt anything and are typically nearly as cheap as stock replacements.
To get 11's or better, you need a better fuel system (darn our small injectors and wussy 190LPH pump) and most easily 13G or larger turbos. (it can be done on less... just not easily as of yet!)
decide how you wanna go... then lemme know... I'll give better advice then.

I have cars that can run 11's and below, so I guess 12's would be nice in the Stealth. Now what brand of clutch do you suggest? Right now I have a centerforce installed in it.

Centerforce is a good clutch... if you like it and it holds... stick with it. Otherwise, go with and RPSII or III.
Aluminum flywheel helps too.
for 12's, just deal with intake, exhaust, boost controller... if you wanna lessen some cost (in a way) buy an MSD DIS4 (2 stage rev limiter and better mileage) and get the Accel coils I have- then you can run copper champion plugs at 99 cents each instead of 10 bucks a plug... you don't get spark blowout then either :)

Hmm, now what are your thoughts on forced induction?
I hear everyone around here talking about it. I thought that is what a turbo or supercharger does, or at least that is how it works.
What do you think?

may have missed the point on that one... forced induction IS a turbo, SC or perhaps NOS.
If you have a TT then you have all the forced you need. Him however... that is different... he can use giggle... he can get a Knight SC, he can drop a JSpec TT motor in... or he can go stupid crazy and try a single turbo install... which is pretty much a losing situation.

That is what I figured.
His dad is a cop so NOS is out of the question. I guess his best bet is a transplant.

Errr- well, I guess I would have to say I am happy with the Stealth... and I am happy with my wifes VR4...
Two cars that combined have over 700HP isn't bad :)
Add the GTC in there and I am over 701 ;)
