Check Airbag light

My 2000 Grand Caravan Sport has been showing a "Check Airbag" light. I'm wondering where to start on diagnosing and resolving this problem. Any hints, experience, suggestions are much appreciated.

When the airbag lite is on the airbag system is unoperational.

Check with your local dealership for a recall on the clockspring. I believe you'll need to give them your vin number.

Does the horn, cruise work?

Do a search using clockspring there are many threads on this issue.

I had that problem with mine and was the fuse (driver side under the hood), maybe there is a little of corrosion and doesn't have a good contact.
