Rattling sound

For the last few months I've been hearing a rattling sound from the front of my car. I happens more often i drive than in park. I did some investigating and it seems to be comming from the EVAP canister. I kinda pretty sure it is. One time it was constanty cycling.

My question is how doyou test the EVAP canister solenoid. Or how does it function or what are the cycle parameters? The sound really annoys me and I just want it to go away.:banghead:
