92 GM key codes

I recently put a new batt in my 92, and now when I put it in drive, my doors automaticly lock. How do I change codes on the key pad?. it's not in my Chiltons mannual. I can't find it in past threads either. thanks

Go to www.fleet.ford.com and click on maintenance tab. Then click on owners manuals, then enter information. I don't think it goes back that far, but it might be the same. Possible.

I have a 2004, but it might be the same / similar. I don't remember exactly, but it was something like enter the key code, then press 9, then press 4 while holding down 9. Its in my owners manual which is in my car right now. The sequence toggles the automatic door lock feature, enter the sequence again and it will turn the feature on/off. For the custom entry code, its also in the manual, and its something like enter the key code, then press 1, then enter the personal code you want.
