Looking for suggestions as to the proper (safe yet increased power) spark timing advance for my '96 Accord LX (think that would make it a F22B2). Im the car is stock (KNN doesnt count) running 94 octane pump gas in 85-95 degree weather. I have a timing light so respond in degrees not mm please. Cheap HP is good HP =).

y r u running such high octane on an otherwise stock engine, its a waste of money. however to utilize that extra octane , advance the timing around 4-5 degrees over stock.
but this is very hard to tune right, without a dyno, you will have to go out and drive around after each adjustment to make sure its better or worse.

Ehhh, let him take it out there for a spin after each adjustment, thats what i did for my si. Turn it and take her out for an italian tune up. lol Come back and turn it some more. When she acts funny, turn it back. Thats the hardcore, live nowhere close to a dyno way. hehe my two cents.
